Kutztown University has conferred degrees for more than 450 students for the Fall 2018 semester. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish the requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The following students have been awarded degrees following the fall 2018 semester. The cumulative grade point average necessary for honors distinction is: with honor (cum laude) 3.40; with high honor (magna cum laude) 3.60 and with highest honor (summa cum laude) 3.80. Students listed multiple times have been awarded more than one degree. Students who have requested privacy (FERPA) are not listed publicly.

Albright College awards $12,000 Founders Scholarships to high school students with outstanding academic records. Founders Scholars generally rank in the top five percent of their graduating class and demonstrate strong leadership skills and a commitment to service.

A total of 594 graduates received associate degrees, specialized diplomas, and certificates from Northampton Community College (NCC) at the Winter Commencement ceremony on January 26.

Students have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the Fall 2018 semester.

109 juniors and seniors at Kutztown University have completed a Career Success Certificate for the Fall 2018 semester. The Career Success Certificate is open to all juniors and seniors. Students gain a greater understanding of themselves, employer expectations, effective job search strategies, interviewing skills and the role of social media in the hiring process. They will also be better prepared to conduct the internship, job, or graduate school search.

Wilkes University Provost Dr. Anne Skleder announced the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester.

The University of North Georgia announces degrees and certificates awarded for the fall 2018 semester, including hundreds awarded in commencement exercises held Dec. 15 at the university.

University of North Georgia (UNG) President Bonita C. Jacobs recognized students who achieved a 4.0 GPA during the fall 2018 semester. Students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours in bachelor's degree programs who achieved a 4.0 grade point average were named to the President's Honor Roll. Students enrolled in associate degree programs who met the same level of achievement were named to the President's List.

A total of 1,513 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Fall 2018 semester of the 2018-2019 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

More than 2,000 high-achieving students have been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester at Northampton Community College. The honor is reserved for students who have completed a minimum of 6 credits and achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in the Fall 2018 semester.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2018-19 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania has recently released its list of students named to the Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2018-19 academic year. To qualify for Dean's List, a student must earn a quality point average of 3.5 or higher (based on 4.0) during the semester.

Lebanon Valley College congratulates 700 students named to the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. Dean's list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0.

More than 1,740 students have been named to the Fall 2018 Dean's List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for the Dean's List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

A total of 472 students will receive degrees from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania at the Winter Commencement ceremony on Saturday, December 15 at 9:45 a.m. in Koehler Fieldhouse. There will be 422 bachelor's degrees, 46 master's degrees and four doctoral degree awarded.

In 2017, Northampton Community College (NCC) was awarded a $25,000 grant from the foundation to create the PPL STEM Scholarship, which will provide scholarships for students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields and careers critical to the needs of our community and workforce.

Northampton Community College students and staff gathered on Thursday, November 1 to celebrate the release of the fall issue of "The Laconic", their literary and arts magazine.

Dr. Daniel Greenstein, the fifth chancellor of Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education, visited East Stroudsburg University on Friday, November 2 to talk to constituents about the opportunities and challenges facing the University and the State System. Chancellor Greenstein toured the ESU Innovation Center and met with ESU President, Marcia G. Welsh, Ph.D.; vice presidents, academic deans, student leaders, faculty and staff leaders, and the ESU Council of Trustees. Chancellor Greenstein also held an open forum with the campus community and the community at large. Students at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus, located in Teaneck, NJ have been named to the Honors Lists for the Spring 2018 semester.

Northampton Community College students and local actors bring to life Sondheim's musical that turns back the clock on friendship and the high price of success. The story follows the lives of three friends - composer Franklin Shepard, lyricist Charley Kringas and writer Mary Flynn - and is told backward. Admission is free for anyone presenting a valid NCC ID, with a donation of a non-perishable food item. Everyone else is $5 for general admission - reservations are encouraged at ncctix.org. Dates are Oct. 18-21.

Thirty-two Lebanon Valley College science and business students collaborated on the production and marketing of this year's Flying Dutchmen Ale, which was revealed during Homecoming Weekend 2018.

Cedar Crest College celebrated the accomplishments of dozens of students during its 2017-2018 Awards Ceremony. The Cedar Crest College Awards Ceremony is held each year on the day before Commencement.

Sonography students went on a trip to the SDMS (Society for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) Annual Conference last week in Orlando from October 3 to October 7.

Delphi is the college's honor society for undergraduate students. Students who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 at the end of their junior year or their senior year are recognized as members.

Cedar Crest College celebrated the Class of 2018 at its 148th annual Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 12.

The Best of the Crest awards recognize students, faculty and staff who continue to have a positive impact on the campus community.

The Dean's List recognizes students who have earned a grade point average of 3.65 or higher in the academic semester.

The Sophomore Expedition is a guaranteed study abroad program. In the spring semester of their sophomore year, students participate in a series of classes to prepare them for the trip. Then they spend 8-10 days traveling as a class to an international destination where they participate in a number of service activites.

Wilkes University students will complete internships as part of their academic work in the fall semester 2018. Internships complement academic work, provide students with practical experience in their field of study and prepare them to enter careers.
